and is collaging her way through them.

hello.

Hi, I'm Amanda and lately, I’ve been taking some time to see things worth noticing.

Interesting feelings have been coming up when I really started to pay attention. Bigger than your every day emotions have started to rise to the surface.

While I may not have the linguistic capacity to explain the way I feel sometimes, I am finding my language through the cathartic act of cutting up second hand books and searching through old magazines for the right combination of images to make sense of things.

Maybe you’ll relate. Maybe you won’t. Perhaps you’ll want to hang it on your wall, or send it to a friend. Let’s find out.

Current Works

The series of works called “Portals” was born as a way to process the inescapable and continuingly horrendous news coming out of america (where i was born) between 2025 and 2026. The intensity of the news, oft referred to as "the horrors," escalates daily. When you start to add up the lack of prosecutions over the epstein files, extracongresional war being waged by a power drunk megalomaniac, the murder and genocide of now more than a handful of populations on this ever warming globe, and the continued brutalisation and degredation of women across the planet - the mind starts to get a little messy.

And yet, as 'the horrors' persist, so do we. Because, honestly, dinner isn't going to cook itself.

if you find my work to be "too much"

thank you,

it was 100% intentional.

Latest Project

About me.

For 10 years I was a globetrotting camera person, filming and editing short documentaries across the US, Cambodia, Laos, and Indonesia for social justice and health non-profits to demonstrate their operations and raise funds for valuable initiatives. In an effort to make a more direct change in the lives of others, I went back to university to earn a Bachelor's of Nursing and began work as a Registered Nurse in Australia. Currently I specialise in clinical cancer trial treatment coordination.

Now, 10 years into my second career, I'm returning to my artistic tendencies as a way to process a lot of feelings I am having about the world.

So if you find some meaning in my work, thank you - I see you too.
